I was born and grew up outside of Cologne, Germany. I came to Seattle when I was 23 years old and was inspired to study and pursue a career in Massage Therapy through a great friend.
I graduated from Ashmead Massage School in 2000 with honors, after graduating I gathered a great amount of experience working at Pro Sports Club in Bellevue (2001-2004).
I have been self-employed since 2004 and held space in Redmond until I opened my Home Studio in Sammamish in June 2017.
I have always worked with a very active clientele and enjoy the noticeable changes I see in my clients.
In 2011, I took part in a 500 hour ATSI Structural Integration Certification Training in Seattle, which has significantly deepened my knowledge of structural alignment imbalances in the body and altered my approach to my work.
In 2019 I added 265 hour of training in a Craniosacral Therapy Certification Program, led by Pat O’Rourke in Seattle. This has allowed me to better sense imbalances in various tissues of the body with a more targeted and gentle approach.
Since then, I have become more interested in energy work and have started to take classes (2024) in Multidimensional Self healing with Kathryn Hamilton-Cook.
My continuing education includes: MDS healing, Craniosacral Therapy, Medical Massage, Cadaver Anatomy, Scar Tissue Integration, Bone and Cranial Rolfing, The Art of Rolfing, Gait Analysis with James Earls and numerous classes in Fascial Balancing with Richard Polishuk and Lauren Christman.
I was part of the Therapy Team at Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB) from 2011-2022, treating dancers at the Phelps center as well as backstage at McCaw hall during performances.
